The white T-shirt spells out his name on the front, and there are double sevens on the back to represent his birthday, July 7. The T-shirt that Aiko and Jean-Raymond collaborated on is also a tribute to Chilombo. The organization, which helps families affected by cancer with financial support, is an acronym that stands for “Why Aren’t You Smiling,” a phrase that her brother said in the midst of his battle with cancer. In 2017, Aiko started the WAYS Foundation five years after her brother, Miyagi Hasani Ayo Chilombo died of brain cancer. Jhené Aiko and Kerby Jean-Raymond of Pyer Moss only became friends this summer after attending the CFDA Awards together, but the two are already collaborating for a good cause: Today, the pair revealed the T-shirt that they co-designed as part of the American Cancer Society’s new, celebrity-studded campaign to kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month (net proceeds from the shirt fund the American Cancer Society’s mission to support breast cancer patients everywhere).
